ExperienceAs a tutor and teacher, I have worked with students from all types of backgrounds. I've worked with dyslexic students in the past, who were lacking confidence in their ability to write, and had notable success with them. My subjects include social studies, American history, European history, African history, African-American history, U.S. history, world history, government, college essays, reading, writing, and AP-level comparative government and politics, human geography, and U.S. government and politics.I have been an adjunct professor at Xavier University for three years. It has enhanced my tutoring ability because I had first-hand experience with the transitional challenges first-year students faced as they went from high school to college. I have a PhD in History from the University of Cambridge and graduated in 2013. In college, I worked one on one with many students, helping them get better at writing and in understanding concepts related to the school's core curriculum in history. I attended the College of Charleston as well. Now living in Cincinnati, Ohio, I spend my free time traveling, going to museums, reading, and enjoying the local sports.
